Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the lead character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Also, she is well-known for her film roles in "Private Parts," "Deep impact', 'True crime and 1408'. She was born to a psychologist and an ice cream store proprietor, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the field of entertainment. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the separation of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in Comparative arts. At the age of 12 when she began her stage career, it started with a performance of "Amahl, The Night Visitor, and Amahl" which was a Christmas opera. She continued to play on stage and finally landed roles on both the small and the big screen. McCormack's versatility is widely recognized and is still widely recognized. In her marriage to producer and director Michael Morris, she has three children.
