
Amanda Louise Holden was born on the 16th February 1971. She is an English actress also known as a journalist and singer. Since 2007 she has been an judge on the popular television talent show Britain's Got Talent on ITV. In the weekday mornings she hosts Heart Breakfast radio with Jamie Theakston. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her youth in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she was a member of the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden also has TV credits, including three series together with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham on the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes of ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield on BBC, and a Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple Episode "4.50 from Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal, she starred alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she joined the show.
