Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She graduated with an B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer as well as an American actor who is active in theater, television and film. Aunjanue. Ellis began acting in theatre. Later, she appeared in television shows as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing on BET's epic drama The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she received critical acclaim and various awards and nominations, among them her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She's appeared in Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her work in the film industry, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her most well-known role is her role on ABC's crime show High Incident.
